The cable that sparked the development of Tuned ARAY.  If the results hadn’t been so profound, there wouldn’t have been a range of Tuned and Super ARAY cables.

Music data lost between the source and the DAC is information you’re never going to get back – no matter how good the system. If it’s a good system, treat the digital cable as seriously as you would the other cables.

The Sarum Super ARAY is built using the same technique and materials as the other Sarum cables, but unlike the others the digital is a very accurate 75 Ohm cable.  Same ultra effective shielding, but a different impedance.

Impedance is decided by the size of the internal conductor in relation to the spacing of the shielding. So no matter how accurate the impedance of the cable  – and while the majority of manufacturers choose to use RCA plugs rather than an accurate 75 Ohm BNC connector –  there will be issues. The typical impedance of an RCA plug is 32 Ohms – ie. far from ideal. We developed the Tuned ARAY conductor theory in an attempt to minimise this (reflections) issue . The extraordinary improvement was more to do with a massive reduction in high frequency interference, so we used applied the same principles to other cable types.

Sarum Super ARAY Digital is available in standard 1m lengths. Longer/custom terminated versions are available to order – and you can go about as long as you need without losing any signal quality.
